Storage year 2024 firm bundled services sold out

The energy market has undergone major changes since February 2022. Changing gas flows, uncertain market conditions and the growth of renewable energy sources, are increasing the need for energy storage capacity. We experienced great interest in our storage services, more than we can offer for storage year 2024. 

The firm working gas volume is sold out completely, resulting in the firm bundled services for storage year 2024 to be sold out. This unfortunately also means that we have to disappoint some customers that were interested in contracting firm services for storage year 2024. 

We will continue with the sales process initiated for the remaining firm products for storage year 2024. The remaining firm injection- and firm withdrawal capacity will be offered as an add-on service to the next customers in line according to our time stamp mechanism. Since this is an add-on service, it will only be offered to customers in the queue who have already contracted a storage service (including volume) in storage year 2024 with us.

As in previous years, after selling out of our firm services, we are going to prepare for offering interruptible bundled services for storage year 2024. We expect -as in previous years- to offer this to the market through an auction.

The changing market demand is reason for us to develop our product and service offerings for the coming period. We will keep you informed about this.
