Timera Energy comments on the rising TTF volatility as illustrated by the EnergyStock Volatility Dashboard

As we have seen, volatility has been rising in Q1 2016. Timera Energy, an independent energy consultant, comments on the evolution of TTF prices and prompt volatility and explains the rising volatility during Q1 in this article. Since October 2015, we publish live information on the rolling 30-days and annual TTF gas price volatility in the EnergyStock Volatility Dashboard.

One of the explanatory factors of the rising volatility according to Timera is that Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) load factors are increasing due to lower gas prices.
